Edward Penfield

Edward Penfield (1866–1925) was an influential American illustrator and poster artist, often hailed as the father of the American poster. Best known for his bold, simplified style and innovative use of colour and design, he created striking magazine covers and advertisements, particularly for Harper’s. His work helped define early modern graphic design and inspired generations of illustrators.
